INCLUSION & DIVERSITY - WOMEN’S PARTICIPATION (Tuesday 23rd July 2024)

• The challenges and opportunities of women’s participation in Botswana’s mining, manufacturing & construction sectors. What is being done to close the gaps from the point of view of various actors.
• The vision of authorities from the mining sector in Botswana (progress and challenges).
• Challenges and opportunities in Botswana for closing the gaps from the point of view of different stakeholders, namely the government, the mining, manufacturing and construction companies, suppliers and the international community.
• Challenges to close gaps in the participation of women.

Our purpose is to discuss the situation of female diversity and inclusion in the sector and formulate proposals from a comprehensive perspective.
We invite the entire mining, manufacturing & construction community to join this important space for multi stakeholder reflection.
